My Current Go-To Lip Wear

In my makeup organizer you’ll find several shades/brands of lipstick and lip gloss, but I’m finding myself really loving four particular ones as of late.  Today I’ll be sharing my go-to lip wear for a normal week.

Lips

01.  NARS Velvet Lip Glide in Bound

This is the lip gloss I wore on my wedding day and it quickly became an everyday staple for me.  I would describe the texture as the perfect gloss/lipstick combo.  It applies like a gloss, but feels like a creamy lipstick when on.  It has a soft, matte-like finish without being dry.  This particular shade is a soft rose pink that’s perfect year-round.

02.  Gen Nude Buttercream Lip Gloss in Must Have

I’ve been a lover of bareMinerals lip gloss for some time, and I’m happy to report that this particular gloss has exceeded my expectations once again.  This line of glosses is super creamy and moisturizing, while plumping the lips without the tingle.  I love the neutral rose shade because it’s also great year-round.

03.  Clinique Almost Lipstick in Black Honey

I received a sample of this product with a purchase from Sephora and have found myself using it often.  It’s so lightweight that it feels very much like a tinted lip balm.  It’s been great to swipe on when I’m wanting a little color without the weight of a lipstick or gloss.

04.  Gen Nude Buttercream Lip Gloss in Sugar

The same exact product at number 02 above, but in a beautiful nude blush color.  I also got this gloss as a free gift with a purchase and am in love with this particular shade!

And on days when I’m just not feeling any color, I always have Burt’s Bees Lip Balm in my purse!  I’ve used this stuff for years and haven’t gotten tired of it yet.  I’ve also been using Mary Kay’s Satin Lips Set, which I’ve found helps my lip products go on more smoothly.

What lip wear do you find yourself using on repeat these days?
