Happy Friday, y’all. I’m sorry I’ve been so MIA the past couple of weeks. Life keeps happening and the blog is forced to take a back seat most days. Fortunately my sister and I just got back from the beach today after having a much needed getaway. As much as I loved being on vacation, I’m happy to be back. I loved getting to see my dogs and be back in my house. I was also greeted by my second Stitch Fix package when I walked through the door this afternoon. I immediately tried everything on because I was too excited to wait until after I unpacked.
Brixon Ivy Mistral Cold Shoulder Tunic ($88)
First off, please excuse my sunburn (ouch), disgusting bathroom mirror, and the photo quality. Second off, I absolutely love this top! I literally love everything about it: the lace, the fit, the design, everything. The only thing I didn’t love was the price. I would typically never spend that much money on a top, but because I liked this one so much and didn’t feel like I could find it just anywhere, I splurged and bought it.
Loveappella Carlita Knit Maxi Dress ($78)
This dress is perfect for my everyday style. I can pair it with a cardigan or blazer for work, as well as wear by itself on the weekend or for a dinner date. Not to mention, it’s super soft and the fabric feels high-quality. Again, a bit pricey for me, but since I only do the box every two months I decided to splurge.
Daniel Rainn Minal Sleeveless V-Neck Blouse ($64)
I’m a huge fan of the detail on this blouse. The buttons, the v-neck, the detail on the shoulders, and the color. There’s a lot of yes on this blouse. Price again, is not awesome, but I kept it because everything was just right.
Kut From the Kloth Lya Printed Wide Leg Pant ($68)
I loved this pants, but they didn’t fit. That is probably a good thing though because I more than likely would have kept them, too. Eeeee!
Steven Milana Strappy Booties ($135)
Super cute booties, right? I thought so, but I already have a pair of shoes that look very similar to this so I couldn’t justify them. Also, the straps felt like plastic so there’s no way I would have spent so much money on something that didn’t feel worth it.
Overall, I give this fix two thumbs up. My stylist did an awesome job and I hope I can keep her! I was impressed how well she matched my style. She also took a look at my Pinterest board which I thought was a nice touch. I did put in the notes for my next fix to find pieces that weren’t so gosh darn expensive. While I splurged on this box, it more than likely won’t happen again.
