If you’ve been following along here, you know I started the 21 Day Fix (again) about three weeks ago so I wanted to give a quick update.
Week one was a total flop. I made it to about day four and then stopped completely. Ready to give up on accomplishing this program all together, I connected with a Beachbody coach I’m friends with on Facebook and asked her to add me to the accountability group she was running. She did and that has seriously made all the difference, as well as given me the extra shove I needed. I started over from the beginning last Monday and successfully completed week one all the way through. I’m currently on day three of week two. As of this morning I’m down 5 pounds and feel 100 percent better! I’m also going to sign up to be a Beachbody coach so I can take it to the next level of accountability. The discount on Shakeology doesn’t hurt either.
A goal I’ll be working toward during the next two weeks of the program is buckling down on my nutrition. I’ve let some things slide that I’m sure are linked to why my weight continues to go up and down. I went shopping this past Sunday and noticed how much better the clothes fit when I tried them on. At this point, non-scale victories are just as welcome as seeing the numbers go down.
